Director of Finance and Operations - Quality Care for Children is currently seeking a Director of Finance and Operations. The Director of Finance and Administration is a senior executive level position that reports to the CEO. The position provides strategic leadership for the organization by working with the Senior Management Team and the Board of Trustees to implement the strategic plan and establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. This position has responsibilities in the areas of finance, facilities management, human resources, and information technology. As a member of the senior management team the position interfaces with and supports all areas of the organization. The ability to work on a team and to contribute to a productive team environment is critical. This position supervises finance and support staff, and staffs the volunteer technology committee and the finance committee of the board of trustees. Early Care and Education Specialist - Quality Care for Children seeks position for Early Care and Education Specialist in Central GA. Position will provide consultation and training to child care providers in child development in child care programs. Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Child & Family Development, Early Care and Education or a closely related field, and a minimum of three years of experience working with groups of children birth to 5 years of age. Candidates with 2 plus years of experience working with children and families with special needs preferred. Parent Counselor - Quality Care for Children seeks position for Parent Counselor in Central GA. Position will provide phone and office consultations to child care providers in child development and state rules and regulations regarding child care programs. Position will also provide training to parents and child care providers. Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Child & Family Development, Early Care and Education or a closely related field. INTERNSHIPS AT QUALITY CARE FOR CHILDREN We offer various learning opportunities for students achieving degrees in Early Childhood Education, Counseling, a related field or experience that indicates comparable knowledge. Internship opportunities are unpaid and available at each of our offices in Atlanta, Macon, and Cartersville. Interns are expected to commit at least 24 hours per week.
