Quality Care for Children has been in the business of opening child care centers for more than 20 years and can help you. Services are customized to meet the needs of each client.

Quality Care for Children provides technical assistance to churches, synagogues, and other nonprofit organizations to open a child care business or to expand an existing program. This service is available in all 159 Georgia counties. We offer this service free of charge to non-profit or faith-based organizations. We also provide this service for a fee if you are opening a for-profit child care center.

This service includes:
  • A site visit to see your space or meet with a task force or Board of Directors
  • A market analysis or needs assessment of your area to show you what other programs are available and what child care is needed
  • Identification of other quality child care programs in your area for you to visit.
  • Assistance in adapting your space to make your facility suitable for a child care, school-age or summer program.
  • A walk-through of your building to determine the best use of your space and to advise on health and safety concerns.
  • Assistance in developing and refining budgets, staffing patterns, job descriptions, policies and procedures, and fee scales.
  • Help completing required licensing paperwork and meeting fire codes and zoning requirements.
  • Assistance in choosing a curricula and developing a quality learning program for children.
