Partnerships

Without support from businesses, organizations and the community, our mission to improve child care in Georgia would be impossible. We extend a sincere thank you to all those that share our vision and help us reach our goals. Below are several opportunities. Please contact Jeff Ader at jeff.ader@qualitycareforchildren.org or 404-479-4181 to inquire about partnership opportunities. Download Partnership & Engagement Menu

“El Día de los Niños” Annual Fundraiser

Quality Care for Children El Dia eventThe Latin-themed cocktail party features specialty drinks and food, a silent auction, and a “Wall of Wine.” El Día de los Niños has raised over $725,000 to support QCC’s programs and services that directly serve Georgia’s most vulnerable children. Sponsors (both cash and in-kind goods and services), silent auction items, donations of wine for our “Wall of Wine,” and volunteers are all needed to make this annual event a success.

Volunteer Events (At Office or Child Care Center)

Quality Care for Children volunteer projectQCC can accommodate groups of up to 30 volunteers at a child care center for a variety of projects (e.g, mulching, painting, garden bed installation). QCC also offers on-site projects for up to 100 volunteers. Past on-site projects include building puppet theaters (pictures) and PVC painting easels (pictures), as well as assembling parent-child engagement kits. QCC typically seeks a tax-deductible donation to help cover the cost of supplies for volunteer projects.

Emergency Child Care Holiday Drive

Quality Care for Children Emergency Child Care Holiday DriveDuring the holiday season partner organizations collect new clothing, books, and toys for children served through QCC’s Emergency Child Care Assistance Program. QCC supplies holiday drive boxes to its partners and can also provide workplace ornaments that list each child’s specific wishes and size.

“Baby Business” Early Learning Game

Quality Care for Children "Baby Business" Early Learning Board GameThis game is a fun way to engage small groups (4-6 employees per game) at your office to learn about the importance of quality early learning opportunities for young children. The game involves each player taking on the role of a community member (parent, child care provider, businessperson, and public official) and then advancing through a series questions, scenarios, and fun activities before collectively investing their points for the final challenge. Our goal is simple: have fun and learn something. Download PDF flyer.

(Fun) Workplace Presentations

Quality Care for Children Workplace PresentationsWhether you have parents of young children on your staff or are just interested in learning more about the importance of early learning issues, QCC can present a fun interactive 30-minute presentation during the day or at lunch that communicates the importance of early learning opportunities and how they impact our community.

Pro Bono Projects & Services

Quality Care for Children Pro-Bono ProjectsQCC is always looking to expand its capacity by engaging its partners in pro-bono projects and services. These can range in size and type, including: marketing, event planning, web design, research, legal, strategic consulting, media, data analysis, and organizational development.
