El Día de los Niños

Cocktail Party & Silent Auction Fundraiser
Saturday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. Nelson Mullins 201 17th St NW

Kids dream BIG. Quality Care for Children’s volunteers and supporters are working hard to make those dreams come true by planning our 10th annual El Día de los Niños fundraising event. This signature event raises awareness about the importance of quality early education and the role it plays in determining future success. The festive, Latin-themed cocktail party features a dinner hors d’oeuvres buffet and specialty drinks, a high-end silent auction, live music, and our popular “Wall of Wine.” Over the years, El Día has also raised more than $950,000 in support of QCC’s efforts on behalf of Georgia’s most vulnerable young children.

El Día de los Niños takes its inspiration from the nationally-recognized day, which began in Mexico in 1925 as a day to celebrate all children. At QCC, we believe that all children – regardless of race or economic background – deserve access to quality early learning experiences. That’s our big dream: A future where all of Georgia’s infants and young children are nurtured and educated in high-quality learning environments. Proceeds from 2015’s El Día de los Niños benefit QCC’s efforts to ensure school-age children have access to healthy snacks and meals throughout the summer.
