Membership Program Benefits
ADMINISTRATIVE RESOURCES & TEMPLATES
Nobody should have to re-invent the wheel, especially busy center directors, owners and family home providers! Our unique GAQCC online portal, the knowledge hub gives members access to a wide variety of ready-to-use documents and templates for all of their administrative and programmatic needs (view sample list). Available documents include but are not limited to: employee handbook and policies, job descriptions and interview guides, IEP/IFSP implementation plans, ERS checklists, and family handbooks. The site also provides resources for each Quality Rated standard to help you with your quality improvement efforts.
STATE-APPROVED (ADM, ECE & SAC) TRAININGS & NETWORKING
In addition to the online resources, the GAQCC offers monthly “Director to Director” (D2D) support meetings in Atlanta, Athens, Cartersville, Rockdale County and Savannah. Our most recent initiative, “Teacher’s Institute of Learning” (TIL) is a second cohort model that delivers quarterly trainings for child care teaching staff of D2D program participants for a tiered level of support. Both meeting forums provide two hour state-approved credit on titles covering critical and carefully selected topics for industry leaders. The broad list of 15 trainings include: program evaluation tools, managing work-life balance, marketing your program, and motivating your staff for success and reduced turnover. In addition to camaraderie, coffee and conversation, attendees receive an array of in depth print resources directly aligned to the topic delivered for added support and a return on investment of time. Many of those resources are included in the web portal so members unable to attend trainings have immediate access to support.
Business Support Services & Discounts
The GAQCC not only props up members in their role of professional educator, but also as small business owners and managers of a program. The online site offers access to a suite of business and administrative resources as well as exclusive negotiated discounts on supplies, equipment, and food from vendors including Kaplan Early Learning, Discount School Supply, Cheney Brothers, ProSolutions Training, and First Book. In one quarter alone, a GAQCC member saved more than $6,050 on educational supplies and food orders. Furthermore, GAQCC members receive discounts to the Child Care Cooperative which provides accounting, payroll, personal and business tax services to child care centers in Georgia.
