Pam Tatum, President & CEO

Pam Tatum, President and Chief Executive Officer of Quality Care for Children (QCC), joined QCC in 1990 when it was still an office of Save the Children, and has been working diligently ever since to support the organization’s mission of ensuring that all of the state’s young children are nurtured and educated. She stepped into her current role in 2004, becoming only the third chief executive officer in QCC’s 35+ year history. Under her leadership, Quality Care for Children earned the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta’s Managing for Excellence Award and expanded its scope and impact to become one of the premier child care resource and referral agencies in the country.  Pam has served on several committees focusing on early care and education at the local state, and national levels, and has authored and published numerous early care and education op-eds and articles.
