Class Description: This training introduces early learning workforce professionals to the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) by explaining what the standards are, why we use them, and their relationship to developmentally appropriate practice. It provides an overview of the organizational structure and language of the GELDS.

Important Information: You must register for this class on the GaPDS website 48 hours before the class start time.

This training is delivered in person and full participation is required to receive credit for the class.

Once registered, participants will receive an email 24-48 hours before the training with the required handouts.

Participants are responsible for printing and bringing the required handouts to class.

Participants who are more than 15 minutes late or leave more than 15 minutes early will NOT receive credit for the class.
