Description: This training introduces early learning workforce professionals to the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) by explaining what the standards are, why we use them, and their relationship to developmentally appropriate practice. It provides an overview of the organizational structure and language of the GELDS.

Location: Zoom. You will receive an email containing the Zoom link and handouts on the day of the training. It is your responsibility to bring all required handouts to the session.
Important Information: For attendance purposes, please provide your full name and your county of residence in the chat box during the training. Active participation is required to receive credit. Lack of participation will result in a return to the waiting room. You must re-enter the session.
Cancellation Policy: If you cannot attend, cancellation is required at least 48 hours before the training starts. Failure to cancel within this time frame or not attending the training will result in the attendee being marked as a No Show. The session will be cancelled by the facilitator if less than 5 participants are not registered 48 hours before the session.
