Wellness grants

Supporting healthy child care environments

At Quality Care for Children, we partner with early care and education programs across Georgia to provide funding, guidance, and hands-on support that promote healthy environments for children.

  • West Georgia Community Transformation Grant: Five child care learning centers across Carroll, Douglas, Haralson and Paulding counties will be selected to implement Farm to ECE. Participating sites will incorporate QCC’s Harvest of the Month curriculum in the classroom, build teaching gardens, and purchase locally-grown and produced foods. Sites will receive materials to support Harvest of the Month implementation, $1,000 mini-grants to build or expand school gardens, and free delivery and online ordering for competitively priced fresh produce, milk and other CACFP-compliant foods from Retaaza.

    Apply by June 30th at 5:00PM: https://qualitycareforchildren.wufoo.com/forms/z1qqdh7g0a0aihw/
